Welcome to theCamping Congress of Catalonia!
The professional congress specialized in the Catalan camping sector, which was held for the first time in 2024 at the Vilanova Park campsite in Vilanova i la Geltrú.
The congress, organized by the Catalan Camping Federation, brings together various representatives of the camping industry with the aim of consolidating Catalonia as a key destination in this field, serving as a meeting point between the different actors that make up this corporate network, and promoting the tourism business network.
Sustainable development in Catalan camping was the main theme of the last session. The main objective was to analyze the economic, social, and environmental impact of the sector, based on the work axes of climate change and sustainability, digitalization, and the future challenges and opportunities of the Catalan and European camping sector.
The Catalan CampsitesGala
An event where companies and suppliers from the camping sector share ideas and opinions, and where new links in the tourism environment are strengthened and created. Furthermore, during the dinner, several recognitions are awarded to businesspeople and entities for their trajectory in the camping sector.
During the 2024 edition, the Honor Medal of Catalan Camping was awarded to Mr. Josep Maria Rosell Saurina, owner and founder of Vilanova Park Camping, the Catalan Camping Medal to Mr. Antonio Giménez Florencio, owner of Camping Montroig Playa Resort, and a special recognition to PiNCAMP and ADAC Camping for their business career in the camping sector.
